Hops rhizome.

They will be marketed only during March-April, a time when the hops are cutted. the hop is pruned and the rhizomes can be harvested.

It is the most common way to reproduce the hops plant and are parts of the root of the hop which contain new
.
To produce the rhizomes that we produce we do not use any type of plant hormones nor any substance other than soil plant organic.

This year we have of organic certified rhizomes of the next varieties: Chinook, Cascade, Vista, Alpharoma, Comet and Cashmere.

Organic hops plant:

They are the plants that we grow in pots. We can market during the months of March to November. These plants unlike the rhizomes have roots and can be planted at any time of year.

The varieties of certified organic hop plants for this year are: Chinook, Cascade, Vista, Alpha-aroma, Comet and Cashmere.

Organic brewer’s barley from two fields.
Spring barley, not malted, is sold in 25 kg format.

Blat Eco Beer: an organic German-style wheat blonde beer. Smooth and easy-drinking, very low in bitterness with a refreshing acidic note. A dry finish, with banana and clove aroma notes resulting from the wheat yeast. Organic ingredients brewed at Lo Vilot Brewery Farm.

ZATEC

Gluten-free beer: Roasted beer suitable for coeliacs (gluten treatment), conceived as a Belgian ale moderately malty, a little fruity and very easy to drink. A beer of amber colour and slightly bitter. The malty character tends to be of biscuit with a light toasted while the hop is moderately floral. Ingredients brewed at the Lo Vilot brewery.

MY BLACK HOLE

Imperial Stout Beer My Black Hole: an intense, strong, alcoholic and malty black beer, with notes of chocolate, liquorice and a hint of coffee. A dense and persistent head of a dark cinnamon colour. Ingredients brewed at Lo Vilot Farm Brewery.

BRETTASAURUS

Brett IPA Beer – Brettasaurus: 100% fermented beer with Brettanomyces for four months in stainless steel tanks. Highlighting the tropical fruit notes contributed by the Brett during the primary fermentation, accompanied by a pleasant aroma and a bitterness produced by a dry hopping. Slightly funky. Ingredients organic produced at Lo Vilot Farm Brewery. Beer produced in collaboration with LaPirataBeers.

The project to establish the Lo Vilot brewery was the winner of the 16th edition of the Agricultural and Food Technology Innovation Award (PITA) 2017 in the agri-industry category. Quiona and Oscar started brewing beer at home and, given the difficulty of finding organic ingredients, soon they decided to grow them themselves, at first with a small quantity to see the viability of As of today, they have the only brewery farm in the country and one one of the few at a European level.

Gold medal at the Barcelona Beer Challenge 2017

This year, 2017, was the second edition of the Barcelona Beer Challenge, the craft beer competition that is part of the Barcelona Beer Festival. Almost 800 different beers and 203 beer brands from all over the world were entered in the competition, some of which were from Lleida.

The Barcelona Beer Festival was held from 24 to 26 March 2017 at La Farga de L’Hospitalet (Barcelona). To date, it is the most important craft beer event in the country. This year, it had to change venue to a larger space at La Farga de L’Hospitalet, which was attended by 32,000 people.

Lo Vilot Beer from the town of Almacelles has been awarded a prize for the second consecutive year in the international competition. This time with a gold medal for the BELGIAN ALE style with their ZATEC, which is also a gluten-free beer suitable for coeliacs.

Since 25 March 2017, ZATEC gluten-free has been the first craft beer to hold the international certification. This certification is awarded by the crossed-grain symbol for gluten-free foods.

The full circle beer projecte: 100% Lleida beer. Two entrepreneurs from Almacelles in the province of Lleida have decided to manufacture their own beer, growing the ingredients themselves. In tha way, all raw materials are produced organically, and the product is crafted artisanally, without additives or colorants. It is the first organic hop plantation in Lleida and the first closed-loop system in craft beer production in the whole country.
