What will we grow at the Vilot farm brewery?
Types of organic hop and cereal:
Today We have 10,000 plants of organic hop and cereal spread over 4.5 hectares with 6 different varieties (Chinook, Cascade, Comet, Cashmere, Vista and Alpharoma). In addition, we have 10 hectares of organic cereals: two-row brewing barley, soft wheat and rye. We promote local farming and the efficient use of resources.
Once the harvest has been carried out, these ingredients are processed so that they can be used to make the beers. Our craft beers from nearby, using renewable energies such as solar energy and biomass for the further processing of the hops (drying and pelletising) and the malting of the cereal.
